Retail Supervisor

Located at Shop 86, Smithfield Shopping Centre, Smithfield QLD 4878, Samba Bowl is a self-serve premium açaí and frozen yogurt business currently seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Supervisor to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring customers receive prompt service and quality products
• Responding to customer enquiries and complaints regarding products and services
• Planning and preparing work schedules and assigning staff to specific duties
• Assisting with interviewing, training, supervising, evaluating, and supporting staff performance
• Instructing staff on customer service procedures and handling complex customer enquiries
• Managing customer returns and determining appropriate action in accordance with company procedures
• Monitoring stock levels, conducting stocktakes, and ordering products and supplies
• Ensuring products are correctly priced, displayed, and presented
• Supervising the day-to-day operation of the store to ensure efficient customer service
• Ensuring workplace health, safety, security, and hygiene procedures are implemented and maintained

About You:

• At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Retail Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience supervising, training, and motivating staff in a fast-paced retail environment
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to resolve customer enquiries and complaints professionally
• Experience with stock control and inventory management
• Knowledge of workplace health, safety, security, and hygiene requirements
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service

Job Type: Permanent / Full-time

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum
