Programmed is currently seeking Yard Hands to join our client's operations in Wingfield. This casual position offers flexibility, ongoing opportunities, and the chance to work within a fast-paced automotive logistics environment.
About the role:
As a Yard Hand, you will play a key role in supporting Finished Vehicle Logistics operations. You will be responsible for moving, parking, inspecting, and preparing vehicles for transport while maintaining a safe and organised yard environment.

What you will be doing:
- Safely drive and park new and used vehicles around the yard.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify any scratches, dents, or missing parts.
- Organise vehicle placement to support efficient loading, storage, and dispatch activities.
- Assist with vehicle washing and detailing as required.
- Complete gate checks and assist with inventory management.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
- Work collaboratively with the wider logistics and operations team.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience as a Yard Hand, Vehicle Logistics Operator, Warehouse Operator, Transport Yard Worker, or similar role is highly regarded.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence (essential).
- Manual driving experience and confidence driving manual vehicles (essential).
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality work.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks.
- Strong attention to detail when inspecting and handling vehicles.
