Accountant

Located in Melbourne VIC 3003, Unifor Australia Pty Ltd is associated with UniFor, part of the Molteni Group. UniFor develops furnishing systems and integrated solutions for workplaces and other professional environments. The business is currently seeking an Accountant to join their team.
Key Responsibilities

• Preparing financial statements and accounting reports for management and statutory requirements.
• Examining income, expenditure and financial transactions.
• Assisting in the formulation of budgetary and accounting policies.
• Maintaining accounting records and providing advice on record-keeping requirements.
• Analysing financial information and reporting on the financial position and performance of the business.
• Assisting with accounting systems and financial reporting processes.
• Preparing financial information required for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Providing accounting and financial information to management to support business decision-making.

About You

• At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
• Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Permanent / Full-time
Salary: AUD $75,000 – $90,000 per annum
