Trainee Tyre Fitter - Branch Service

Bridgestone Mining Solutions Australia (BMSA) is a market leader in the tyre industry and is renowned for its global reputation for quality products, continuous improvement & cutting-edge application of technology.

We are seeking a qualified Off The Road (OTR) Tyre Fitter for a permanent position at our Branch in Port Hedland, WA. This will be a residential position (not FIFO) working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week. 

Annual remuneration for qualified OTR Tyre Fitter due to regular overtime: $120K - $160K + super or more!

We will also consider a Trainee OTR Tyre Fitter - learn while you earn ($41.50/hr + site allowance, potential to earn up to $100k or more!), progress to qualified OTR Tyre Fitter in approx 12 months (fast tracked if you have light or heavy vehicle tyre fitting experience/qualifications). 

The Role

• Diagnose and troubleshoot tyre / wheel / rim damage and wear

• Deliver service in accordance with industry best practice

• Support your Supervisor to provide a quality service to BMSA customers

• Ensure all work documentation is accurate, correct and signed off

• Comply with BMSA and customer site policies and procedures

About You - Essential

• Current work rights in Australia - no restrictions

• Qualified OTR Tyre Fitter 

• Current HR licence (or able to obtain)

• High Risk Forklift ticket (or able to obtain)

• Strong commitment to safety of yourself and others

• Able to work unsupervised and in a team
