The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Tax & Business Services Accountant looking for a role where you can continue developing your technical skills while gaining greater exposure to clients and advisory work?
This is a great opportunity to join a multidisciplinary accounting and wealth advisory firm with a strong client base and experienced team around you.
You’ll work alongside Managers and Directors across a range of interesting clients, gaining exposure to varied industries, business structures and more complex accounting and tax matters.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing financial statements and tax returns
- Preparing management reports and financial information
- Assisting with tax planning and business advisory work
- Working with clients across a variety of industries and structures
- Assisting with more complex tax and accounting matters
- Building strong client relationships
- Working closely with Managers and Directors
- Supporting junior accountants as your experience develops
- Identifying opportunities to improve clients' financial and business outcomes
About You
Ideally, you'll have:
- Australian public practice experience
- CA or CPA qualified, or currently working towards your qualification
- Solid experience across tax and business services
- Good understanding of Australian tax legislation
- Strong attention to detail
- Commercial approach and willingness to learn
- Good communication and client relationship skills
- An interest in developing your advisory capabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
