About Our Client
Our client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. They operate seven Bowen Basin mine sites with roles available across the operations with local, DIDO and FIFO opportunities available.
What you will be Doing
You will be working as an Electric Rope Shovel Operator within the Prestrip Mining Department on a coal mine in the Moranbah area. You will be required to safely operating a CAT 7495 Shovel. You will be working 12.5-hour shifts on a Thursday to Wednesday rotating day and night roster. These roles are available for residential (Moranbah), FIFO (Cairns or Brisbane) and DIDO candidates.
What you will need
- Previous experience operating a CAT 7495 Electric Rop Shovel within a coal mining environment
- You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.
- SSE signed skills list
- Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia
