Senior Tax Accountant / Assistant Manager

Our client is a well-established public practice accounting firm based in South Perth, known for delivering high-quality tax, accounting and business advisory services. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant / Assistant Manager to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong public practice accountant to work closely with the Partners, providing expert tax advice, reviewing work, mentoring staff and supporting a diverse client portfolio.

What you'll be doing:

• Providing technical advice across business and tax structuring
• Trust taxation
• Division 7A, CGT, GST, FBT and tax planning
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns
• Reviewing work prior to Partner sign-off
• Supporting advisory projects, restructures and ATO audits
• Mentoring junior team members and delivering technical guidance
• Building strong client relationships

What you'll need:

• 7+ years' Australian public practice accounting experience
• CA or CPA qualified (CTA highly regarded)
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting standards
• Experience reviewing work and mentoring staff
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Full working rights in Australia
