With new long-term contracts and opportunities, we're looking for Shotfirers who are ready to hit the ground running. You’ll work on a 7:7 Roster (Wednesday to Tuesday) providing top class services to our clients.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you'll:

• Lead and execute blasting operations to achieve precision outcomes

• Support and guide your blast crew to lift performance and develop skills
• Maintain and ensure the reliability of all blasting equipment
• Keep accurate records and manage inventory effectively
• Identify and resolve technical issues before they impact production
• Uphold safety, environmental and regulatory standards at all times

What You’ll Need

Must-haves:

• Right to work in Australia without restrictions
• Previous and proven Shotfirer experience, ideally in the coal sector
• Statement of Attainment for blasting e.g. Support Shotfiring, S123, etc.

• Relevant licenses i.e. QLD Explosives Security Clearance Card (or willingness to obtain one if you've operated outside QLD) and a valid Shotfirer's license
• Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
• Sound knowledge of explosives and safe blasting procedures
• Strong leadership and team coordination experience
• A proactive, safety-first mindset with great communication
• Ability to pass all pre-employment checks (medical, D&A, background)
