Shadforth is currently seeking a dedicated and hands-on Serviceman to join our team working across projects in Brisbane and the Gold Coast Regions.
As part of the one of Queensland's leading Civil Construction companies, you'll play a critical role in maintaining our extensive fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety and teamwork to join a company that values its people and their contribution to every project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out scheduled servicing of plant and equipment across various project sites
- perform basic mechanical maintenance and minor repairs
- Monitor machinery condition, identify and report any mechanical faults or leaks
- Maintain correct fluids (fuel, oil, grease) for optimal machine performance
- Manage the cleanliness and stock levels of the service vehicle
- support Diesel Fitters on-site with tasks when needed
What you'll need:
- Previous experience in a similar servicing or mechanical support role (earthmoving or civil machinery experience preferred)
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to monitor plant and equipment condition, identify & report oil and fuel leaks, whilst ensuring oil, grease and fuel are stocked
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and site compliance
- Team-focused mindset with good communication skills
- A proactive and reliable work ethic
