The Company

Our client is an extremely reputable NFP with a history of nearly 100 years! They operate over 100 clubs across the country and play a leading role in the community. Based in their Olympic park office, you will report into a talented Financial Controller, who will offer support and mentorship. You’ll join a fantastic team of people highly motivated by the organisational mission.

The Role

The responsibilities of this Assistant Accountant role will include, but not be limited to:

• Bank reconciliations

• Balance sheet reconciliations

• Preparing sales invoices

• Managing suppliers

• Weekly reporting & variance analysis

• System maintenance

• Ad hoc finance duties as required

Your Background

To be considered for this Assistant Accountant role, you should meet most of the following criteria:

• Accounting degree and solid understanding of accounting standards

• At least 6 months' experience (internship, commercial or public practice)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

Prior experience in a not-for-profit business will be highly regarded.
