CFA Victoria Shepparton are offering an opportunity for a First or Second year Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanical Apprentice, this individual must be motivated, educated with a strong work ethic. Based in Shepparton in the North East of Victoria you will be trained and educated with full team support to complete your Apprenticeship. Join a hands on real experience workshop where you will be mentored, trained and educated in diesel mechanical procedure's, servicing and general maintenance.

Our client, is based in Shepparton Victoria who specializes in servicing and maintenance of a large Heavy Vehicle fleet, is now offering an opportunity for a hard-working, self-motivated, and most importantly, passionate individual to commence an Apprenticeship in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology. We are looking for a First or Second year Apprentice.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be trained up in all aspects of a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic

  • Servicing of fleet such as oil and oil filter replacement
  • Brake pad inspection and replacement
  • Stationary fire pump servicing
  • Mechanical diagnostics and Fault finding
  • Field service operations
  • All aspects of work health and safety in the work shop

This is a fantastic career-start opportunity to become trade qualified. As an apprentice, you will receive both on and off the job training working towards Certificate III Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology which will see you employed directly by AGA up to 4 year's.

Please note that relevant Apprentice award rates will apply.

Requirements:

  • Current Driver’s Licence preferable
  • A positive can do attitude with a strong willingness to work and learn
  • 100% commitment to undertaking this 4 year apprenticeship
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work with in a team environment
  • Enjoy hands on work and physically fit
