Production Operators
- Operate and monitor multi-slide machines and transfer press equipment.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
- Pack, label, and prepare finished goods for dispatch.
AWX is currently seeking experienced and motivated Machine Operators to join a leading manufacturer of sustainable food packaging solutions, based in Narangba.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established company supplying high-quality packaging to major retailers across Australia. This role is ideal for individuals experienced in operating automated production machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor multi-slide machines and transfer press equipment within a plastics manufacturing environment
- Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot machinery to ensure optimal production output
- Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications and standards
- Pack, label, and prepare finished goods for dispatch as required
- Monitor production lines to maintain efficiency and minimise downtime
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of machines and work areas
- Adhere to all workplace health, safety, and hygiene procedures
About You:
- Previous experience operating multi-slide, transfer press, or similar automated manufacturing machinery is highly regarded
- Background in plastics manufacturing or high-volume production environments preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
- Full working rights in Australia
