Finance Manager

This top performing design and construction business has seen significant recent growth both locally and overseas. They have a portfolio of blue chip clients and focus on high-end fit outs emphasising flexibility and quality, creating innovative environments that enhance user experience.
They are currently looking for an interim Finance Manager however there is the strong potential for this role to be made permanent. Reporting to the CEO and COO key duties will include:
- Leading and developing a team of 3
- Driving financial performance across the group
- Presentations to senior management on performance to plan, WIP, financial analysis, and forecasts
- Assist with the strategic planning process including budgets, forecasts, and 3 year plan
- Oversight of monthly reporting, analysis, and commentary
- Management of all project cost reporting and job costing
- Cash management and forecasting
- Oversight of tax compliance and ensuring the company meets all obligations
- Involvement with new tenders including benchmarking and pricing reviews
- System and process enhancement projects
You will be CA/CPA qualified with 8+ years experience in a financial role, having previously held Finance Manager level positions within medium sized organisations taking control of all financial aspects. Experience in construction is highly regarded along with broad technical skills covering management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. Excellent business partnering and team leadership skills are key, along with the ability to influence strategy, drive through change, and think commercially.
