An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced HR / People professional to join a major transformation program supporting acquisitions, integration activity and strategic people initiatives within a large, complex organisation.
Your new role
Working closely with senior People leaders, you will play a key role in supporting acquisition due diligence, Day One readiness, integration planning and broader organisational transformation initiatives. This is a hands-on role requiring a blend of strategic thinking, project leadership and practical delivery. You will be responsible for:
- Supporting acquisitions and integration projects from a people perspective
- Coordinating due diligence, Day One readiness and integration activities
- Leading strategic people projects and programs from concept through to implementation
- Developing governance frameworks, project plans and implementation roadmaps
- Partnering with specialist stakeholders across Employee Relations, Workplace Relations, Safety and People teams
- Preparing communications, presentations and project documentation
- Analysing workforce data and providing practical recommendations
- Supporting organisational design, workforce planning and transformation initiatives
- Managing multiple work streams and competing priorities
What you'll need to succeed
M&A or integration experience is essential and if it's in Health/Aged Care, then even better! This position will suit a HR leader who has successfully delivered multi-site, large-scale transformation and change programs.
- Significant experience in a senior HR, People & Culture or Human Resources role
- Strong HR generalist knowledge across multiple people disciplines
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions or post-merger integration activities will be highly regarded
- Strong project and program management capability
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Ability to work autonomously and confidently navigate ambiguity
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with a willingness to be hands-on
