We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst (Senior Business Analyst) to join a leading Federal Government Agency. The successful Technical Business Analyst will support the delivery of strategic data and analytics capabilities, working closely with business stakeholders, technical specialists and delivery teams to define requirements, improve processes and enable successful technology outcomes. You will be offered a long-term contract through to June 2027 with two further extension options and receive a rewarding hourly rate.
The successful Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Gathering, analysing and documenting business, functional and data requirements across complex technology initiatives
- Facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement activities to define business needs and solution outcomes
- Analysing data flows, system integrations and business processes to support enterprise data platforms
- Supporting data validation, testing, reconciliation and quality assurance activities throughout project delivery
- Developing process models, business rules, acceptance criteria and operational readiness documentation
The successful Technical Business Analyst will have:
- Demonstrated experience delivering business analysis services across technology, data, analytics or digital transformation projects
- Strong experience gathering and managing complex business, functional and data requirements
- Experience working within enterprise data environments, cloud platforms and system integration projects
- Strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and communication skills across business and technical teams
- Understanding of data governance, information management, privacy and security principles, with BA qualifications highly regarded
