We are seeking an experienced Landscape Site Supervisor to join a well-established landscaping company based in North Sydney.

This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced landscaper who is ready to take the next step into a supervisory position. You will spend your time working on the tools, leading a team and overseeing the day-to-day delivery of landscaping projects across the Northern Beaches, North Shore and Greater Sydney. The successful candidate will have strong commercial landscaping and hardscaping experience, be confident managing and delegating to a team, and take pride in delivering high-quality work.

About the Role

As Landscape Site Supervisor, you will lead your team on site, allocate daily tasks, monitor the quality of work and ensure projects are progressing safely and efficiently. You will be the key point of contact on site, working closely with your team, contractors and senior management to ensure projects are delivered to the required standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of landscaping staff on site.
• Delegate daily tasks and ensure the team is working efficiently.
• Work hands-on on the tools alongside your team.
• Oversee commercial landscaping and hardscaping projects.
• Monitor quality control and ensure all work meets company and client expectations.
• Coordinate labour, materials, tools, machinery and equipment.
• Keep projects progressing according to schedule.
• Identify and resolve issues on site quickly and effectively.
• Communicate with clients, contractors and suppliers when required.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work site.
• Ensure all work complies with WHS requirements.
• Provide regular updates and report any issues or delays to senior management.
• Support and train team members to maintain high standards of work.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has 5+ years' experience in landscaping.
• Has strong commercial landscaping experience.
• Has solid experience with hardscaping and landscape construction.
• Is confident working hands-on with tools, machinery and landscaping equipment.
• Has previous experience leading, supervising or managing a landscaping team.
• Is confident delegating work and holding team members accountable.
• Has a strong eye for quality and takes pride in the finished product.
• Can identify problems and find practical solutions on site.
• Has strong communication and leadership skills.
• Is reliable, organised and able to take ownership of the site.
• Holds a current driver's licence.
• Landscaping, horticulture or construction qualifications are advantageous.
