Our client is seeking an experienced MC Driver to join their busy transport operation based in Canning Vale. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety focused and reliable driver looking for longer hours with a well established business.
You will be responsible for operating a B-Double truck and completing deliveries throughout the Perth metropolitan area. This role requires strong reversing skills and confidence maneuvering vehicles into tight spaces and narrow finger docks.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a B-Double truck safely and efficiently
- Completing scheduled deliveries across the Perth metro area
- Reversing into narrow finger docks and confined delivery locations
- Securing loads using straps and load restraint equipment
- Conducting pre-start vehicle inspections and reporting defects
- Maintaining compliance with road transport and safety regulations
- Providing professional customer service at delivery sites
To Be Successful, You Will Have
- Current MC License
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience - Essential
- Proven experience reversing heavy vehicles into narrow docks and tight spaces
- Current Commercial Driver's Medical - Desirable
- Strong understanding of load restraint practices
What's on Offer?
- $43.14 per hour (inclusive of casual loading)
- Monday to Friday roster
- Early starts from 4:30am - 5:00am
- Up to 10 hour shifts
