We are currently seeking Trade qualified Boilermakers/Welders and 2nd Class Welders for a range of Temp-to-perm opportunities with leading engineering and manufactoring companies located throughout Acacia Ridge, Rocklea, Coopers Plains and surrounding areas.
These roles offer immediate starts, competitive pay rates, and the opportunity to secure permanent employment with established businesses. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will utilise your MIG and TIG welding skills to manufacture and assemble high-quality metal components and structures while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals and material thicknesses
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Prepare, fabricate, and assemble metal components
- Operate and maintain welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Work closely with production teams to meet project deadlines
- Inspect completed work and rectify defects where required
- Adhere to workplace health and safety procedures and quality standards
About You
- Proven experience as a Boilermaker, Fabricator, or Welder
- Strong MIG and TIG welding skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Relevant welding qualifications or trade certification
- Previous supervisory experience will be highly regarded
