HealthX is seeking an experienced Dual Registered Midwife/Registered Nurse (RM/RN) to join the Maternity & Paediatric Unit at Mareeba Hospital for a 12 to 14 week contract commencing 5 October 2026.

About the Role
As part of the Maternity & Paediatric Unit, you will provide high-quality, woman-centred and family-centred care to women, newborns, children, and their families. Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will play an important role in delivering safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to the local community.
What We're Looking For
- Current AHPRA registration as both a Registered Midwife and Registered Nurse (RM/RN)
- Recent midwifery experience
- Paediatric experience highly regarded
- Experience using ieMR preferred
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously
- A clinician who enjoys working in a rural setting and contributing to a supportive team environment
