Proejct Manager

The Opportunity
An established Brisbane commercial builder is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join its growing delivery team.

The business delivers commercial new builds, fitouts and refurbishments across hospitality, retail, education, medical and commercial sectors. With a healthy pipeline of upcoming work, they're looking for someone who can take ownership of projects and work closely with clients, site teams and senior management.

This is a hands-on delivery role with genuine autonomy. You'll be involved in the detail, supported by an experienced team and junior commercial staff, without the layers of management found in larger organisations.

The Role
You'll be responsible for:

• Managing projects from procurement and planning through to completion
• Overseeing programme, budgets, forecasting and commercial performance
• Managing subcontractors, consultants and suppliers
• Working closely with Site Managers to maintain programme, safety and quality
• Managing variations, progress claims and client relationships
• Identifying risks and resolving delivery issues early

About You
You'll have proven Project Management experience with an Australian commercial builder, ideally across new builds, fitouts or refurbishments.

You'll need strong commercial knowledge, sound construction methodology and the ability to manage projects independently.
Experience delivering hospitality, retail, QSR, education or other fast-paced commercial projects would be particularly relevant.
