- Conduct preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on electrical equipment.
- Perform fault finding and diagnostics on control systems and PLCs.
- Complete electrical installations and modifications at customer sites.
Job description
We are currently recruiting an experienced Industrial Electrician / Maintenance Electrician for an established client based in Bundamba.
This hands-on role offers a varied mix of work within the Bundamba workshop and across customer sites, including pump stations and other industrial facilities.
You will carry out preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, fault finding, installations and commissioning on a broad range of electrical equipment and control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Preventative and scheduled electrical maintenance
- Breakdown response and electrical fault finding
- Maintenance and repair of pumps, motors, VSDs, sensors and control systems
- PLC fault finding and diagnostics
- Electrical installations, upgrades and modifications
- Testing and commissioning of industrial equipment
- Workshop-based repairs and maintenance
- Attending customer sites, including pump stations
- Completing service documentation and maintenance records
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to relevant electrical standards
About You To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Current Queensland Electrical Licence
- Experience as an Industrial, Maintenance or Service Electrician
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience with motors, pumps, drives and industrial control systems
- PLC fault-finding experience will be highly regarded
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Full Australian working rights
A current CPR/LVR, White Card, Working at Heights and Confined Space ticket will be advantageous, particularly for site-based work.
