Our client collaborates with engineers & contractors worldwide to enhance their performance and be the first point to call. Their ever-growing work load is now needing a Store person to join their team in Murarrie, Brisbane!
Your new role
As their new Stores Person, you will be responsible for the following duties but not limited to:
- Receive incoming goods, materials and checking quantities
- Loading and loading of trucks & containers using forklift
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately for dispatch
- Prepare products for dispatch, such as labelling, palletising, wrapping and securing loads
- Conduct high-reach forklift operations
- Assist in regular stock takes and maintain inventory records
- Liaise and collaborate with other departments and key teams to reach deadlines and targets
- Follow health and safety procedures and safe-handling practices
- Assist in general warehousing duties when required and contribute to a safe and clean working environment
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you must have the following:
- Valid High risk Work - LF licence
- Previous experience in a warehousing role or similar
- experience in both counterbalance and high reach forklift operations
- Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse systems
- Ability to pass a full medical, including drug & alcohol test
