Payroll Officer role based in Eagle Farm | Permanent position | $85,000 - $90,000 + Super

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. Your new role
Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services across the organisation. You will be involved in all aspects of payroll processing while providing support and expertise to stakeholders throughout the business.Your responsibilities will include:

  • End-to-end processing of fortnightly and monthly payrolls
  • Setting up and maintaining employee records within the payroll system
  • Managing leave entitlements and payroll-related enquiries
  • Processing terminations and final payments
  • Preparing monthly payroll reports and reconciliations
  • Payroll tax, superannuation and WorkCover reporting
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards and enterprise agreements
  • Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Identifying and supporting payroll process improvements

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Previous end-to-end payroll experience within a medium to large organisation
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, compliance requirements and best practice
  • Experience interpreting awards and enterprise agreements
  • High attention to detail and exceptional accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships
  • A proactive and team-focused approach
