About the role:

• Represent a diverse range of clients from the private sector, not-for-profit organisations, Queensland State government agencies, and local councils
• Be involved in misconduct and disciplinary matters, underpayment disputes and dismissal proceedings, enterprise bargaining, company restructures, resulting transfers of business, redundancy issues, and managing employee exits.

The ideal candidate:

• Minimum 2 PQE Lawyer up to Special Counsel level with strong academics and relevant Australian Legal Qualification/Admission
• Previous experience in workplace and industrial relations representing defendants from a recognized private practice law firm or government agency (highly regarded)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships (level dependent).
