Our Client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Chemist to join our innovative team. The Chemist will study the chemical and physical properties of substances and oversee the development and monitoring of chemical processes to enhance production and product quality. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to advancements in chemical analysis, process development, and quality control. This role will support the continuous improvement of the companies products and ensure they meet the highest safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse experimental data to develop theories, methods, and processes, and evaluate the reliability of outcomes under various conditions.
  • Apply research findings to develop practical solutions and improve existing chemical processes.
  • Design and implement quality control procedures to ensure product consistency, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Examine samples to assess their suitability for production and processing, providing recommendations for optimisation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and regulatory, to support the scale-up of new processes and ensure the safe manufacture of products.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, techniques, and safety regulations to continually improve the company’s production processes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in chemical analysis, process development, or quality control in an industrial setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to details.
  • Ability to conduct complex experiments and interpret data effectively.
  • Knowledge of industry safety standards, chemical handling protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
