Role Description

We are seeking experienced Leading Hands to join our team across multiple projects in Greater Sydney. In this role, you will oversee and support tradespeople, skilled labourers, and plant operators, ensuring skilled construction and landscaping tasks are completed to the highest standards, on time, and in line with project requirements. You will play a key role in maintaining safety, quality, and operational excellence on site, while fostering a collaborative and professional team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and coordinate a team of tradespeople, skilled labourers, and plant operators on site.
2. Perform and oversee skilled construction and landscaping tasks, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
3. Collaborate with the team to uphold safety protocols and operational best practices.
4. Read and interpret technical plans, drawings, and project specifications.
5. Demonstrate professionalism, efficiency, and a team-oriented approach in all aspects of the role.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in trades-related skills, including landscaping, construction, or civil works.
2. Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a construction or landscaping environment.
3. Ability to operate tools, equipment, and machinery relevant to the role.
4. Certifications or industry-relevant qualifications are advantageous.
5. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and pride in delivering high-quality work.
6. Reliable, dedicated, and proactive, with a can-do attitude.
7. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
8. Comprehensive understanding of on-site safety standards and procedures.
