Disability Support Worker
- Support clients during daily routines and accompany them to activities and appointments.
- Assist clients with personal care tasks including hygiene, grooming, and dressing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting clients during daily routines and accompanying them to activities and appointments.
- Assisting clients with mobility, transfers, and movement as needed.
- Preparing meals and helping with food preparation according to individual needs.
- Organising and facilitating social, recreational, and community activities.
- Carrying out household tasks such as vacuuming, cleaning, and maintaining a safe home environment.
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks including hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Providing companionship, emotional support, and positive engagement with clients.
- Running errands such as shopping and other essential tasks.
- Providing live-in care support as required by individual client arrangements.
Skills and Experience Require
- Minimum 1 year experience in disability support, aged care, or a similar community care role.
- Knowledge of personal care, mobility assistance, and safe manual handling practices.
- Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and handle physically and emotionally demanding situations.
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability, Aged Care, or similar) or equivalent qualification highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues.
