Your new role
- Leading the development, review and reform of legislation, regulations and policy frameworks relevant to the Commission.
- Providing strategic policy advice on emerging regulatory, safeguarding and operational issues.
- Preparing high-quality briefs, submissions, Cabinet-related materials, correspondence and executive papers.
- Developing consultation materials and coordinating stakeholder engagement activities.
- Managing complex projects and contributing to cross-agency and intergovernmental reform initiatives.
- Identifying legislative, regulatory and operational risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Supporting implementation of legislative and policy reforms through guidance, governance and change management activities.
- Building productive relationships with Commonwealth, state and territory agencies, disability sector stakeholders and internal business areas.

What you'll get in return
- Location and hybrid working arrangements are flexible, subject to operational requirements.
- 37.5 hours per week
- One-year initial contract starting on 05/10/2026
- Hourly rate of $90-$110 p/h + Super
