Your new role
In this exciting new role, you will be:

Leading a team focused on the design, implementation and optimisation of on-premise infrastructure and hybrid cloud solutions. Driving operational excellence through modernisation and best practice implementation. Managing a team of 5 engineers. Leading infrastructure-related projects and contributing to strategic planning. Ensuring high availability and performance of core systems and platforms. Overseeing vendor relationships and service delivery. Coaching and developing a high-performing infrastructure team. Maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Designing and implementing automation frameworks.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application, you will need:Proven experience in people leadership.Strong technical knowledge of virtualisation, storage, servers and data centre operations.Proficiency in automation and scripting tools such (i.e. Python, PowerShell, Ansible, etc)Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.A tertiary education in Information Technology, as well as VMware, Pure Storage, HPE, Dell, Azure and ITIL certifications are advantageous.
