We are seeking a Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team and play a key role in supporting our St Marys manufacturing operation and national Doors Group network.

About the Role

Reporting to the National Supply Chain Manager (East Coast Operations), you will be responsible for purchasing, inventory management and production planning support to ensure continuity of supply, inventory accuracy and efficient manufacturing operations.

Working closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Customer Service, Logistics and Supply Chain teams, you'll help ensure materials are available when needed, stock levels are optimised, and customer commitments are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage purchasing activities and supplier performance
  • Raise and maintain purchase orders
  • Monitor inventory levels and optimise stock holdings
  • Coordinate stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory reconciliations
  • Support production scheduling and planning activities
  • Monitor freight on water, stock in transit and intercompany inventory
  • Prepare inventory, purchasing and month-end reporting

About You

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to build relationships across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in purchasing, inventory control, supply chain or planning
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and MRP principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience within manufacturing, building products or construction industries (highly regarded)
