The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Bulk Haulage Operator with a strong commitment to safety and a passion for efficient mining operations? Thiess is seeking experienced and motivated Bulk Haulage Operators to join our high-performing team at the QCoal Northern Hub in Collinsville.

As a key member of the QCoal Northern Hub team, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient haulage of coal to ROMs and stockpile areas, supporting ongoing production targets within a close-knit, safety-focused mining team.

Roster: 7/7| Location: Collinsville, QLD | Employment Type: Permanent

As the Bulk Haulage Operator, you will:

• Safely operate B-Double Road Trains in a mine environment.
• Conduct pre-start inspections, complete required documentation and comply with site safety procedures and Queensland mining legislation.
• Haul coal and other materials between load and dump points in line with production schedules and haulage plans.
• Identify and report hazards, incidents and equipment defects promptly
• Contribute to continuous improvement and a positive safety culture

About you

• Demonstrated experience operating road trains for bulk haulage, preferably in a mining environment, and a current MC licence.
• SSE-signed transcript with an MC pass-out or hold the RIIVEH302E qualification
• Commitment to safety, teamwork and operational excellence
• Ability to work in a rostered, site-based role (day and night shifts)
