Property Network of Australia is working excusively with Sydney based property investment and management client - Hadley Green Investment Group to source a Retail Asset Manager to lead its portfolio team, based in Brisbane CBD.
With a mixed portfolio of retail and commercial assets, Hadley Green Investment Group delivers strong commercial outcomes through proactive asset management and operational excellence, supporting investor growth and community partnerships across its portfolio. PNA is seeking an individual with previous or current experience managing retail property portfolios, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on operational execution.
The successful candidate will drive asset management strategies, oversee financial and operational performance, and provide leadership to the portfolio team. The role requires a visible presence across portfolio assets, strong stakeholder engagement, and rigorous financial control and we are seeking an individual who can demonstrate portfolio level experience within the retail asset class specifically.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Executive Director, develop and execute asset management strategies for a portfolio of seven convenience retail assets.
- Prepare business plans, forecasts, and asset valuations as required
- Manage and drive positive leasing outcomes across the portfolio
- Maximise income growth and operational performance
- Lead and mentor the Portfolio Management team comprising Centre Manager, Operations Manager, Marketing Manager and 2 x Accounts/Admin
- Manage stakeholder relationships and service provider performance
- Ensure compliance with lease, legal, and risk management requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience in retail shopping centre or asset management
- Strong financial acumen and expertise in budgeting and forecasting
- Comprehensive knowledge of retail lease structures and regulations
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication abilities
