A growing South Australian civil contractor is expanding its team as it enters an exciting period of growth, with a strong pipeline of projects secured across the state.
 
With capabilities spanning civil infrastructure, structural concrete and large-scale landscaping, the business delivers a diverse range of projects and is continuing to invest in its people as the business grows.
 
They are now looking for a Project Engineer who wants to build their experience, take on greater responsibility and develop their career alongside the business.
 
You will work alongside experienced Senior Project Engineers, Project Managers and site teams, gaining exposure across the full project lifecycle and developing the technical, commercial and leadership skills needed to progress.

And importantly, it is a Monday to Friday role with no weekend work.
 
The Role
 
Working alongside experienced project and site teams, you will contribute across the delivery of civil projects while progressively taking on greater ownership.
 
You will be responsible for:

• Supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of civil infrastructure projects
• Managing engineering activities across project programmes and key milestones
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and project stakeholders
• Supporting Project Managers and Senior Project Engineers with project delivery
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design, quality and compliance requirements
• Providing technical and engineering support to site teams
• Completing Quality Assurance and WHS processes
• Preparing Work Method Statements, ITPs and project documentation
• Contributing to project problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Taking on increasing responsibility as you develop towards Senior Project Engineer and Project Management

You will ideally bring:

• Experience as a Project Engineer within civil construction or infrastructure
• A relevant Civil Engineering qualification
• Exposure to civil infrastructure project delivery
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Confidence working with Project Managers, Senior Engineers and Site Supervisors
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to project and site challenges
• A genuine ambition to progress your career
