Our Perth State Gov client is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to:

  • Develop, implement, and establish a medallion database architecture for our Neo4J database
  • Develop, implement and establish data pipelines and ETL solutions from multiple disparate source systems within the WA Police Force environment
  • Work within a team containing multi-vendor and in-house staff to develop, establish and optimise graph analytics.

Service Delivery Requirements

In order to deliver the services required under this engagement, the following requirements need

to be shown by the resources provisioned to deliver said services:

  • 5+ years data engineering experience in medium to large projects
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, SQL, Python
  • Experience with databases, data warehousing, ETL systems and big data technologies
  • Experience with establishing medallion structure database architecture
  • Experience with data modelling, data security and data governance
  • Strong communication, teamwork and analytical skills
  • Proven and demonstratable Data Engineering skills and the ability to interpret and understand the requirements of the project
  • Relevant certification and education in the field of Computer Science, Data Science and other related areas.

Security Clearance

  • The Respondent is required to provide nominated Specified Personnel that are in possession of or eligible and willing to obtain a Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) Security Clearance. Australian Citizensip is required
