Your new company
Our client is a well-established national supplier servicing the construction, civil infrastructure, and manufacturing sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a reliable warehouse operator to join their Townsville team. This is a Monday to Friday opportunity offering stable hours, a supportive team environment, and the potential for ongoing work.
Your new role
Working within a busy warehouse environment, you will be responsible for the safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of products. You will assist with loading and unloading trucks, picking and packing orders, maintaining stock accuracy, and ensuring the warehouse remains organised and compliant with safety standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Forklift operation and material handling
- Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Stock control and inventory management
- General warehouse housekeeping
- Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times
What you'll need to succeed
- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Construction White Card
- Previous warehouse or stores experience
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable transport and a strong work ethic
