Hays is currentlyseeking a reliable and motivated Catering Assistant/Cook to support a busycatering operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure full-time hoursin a friendly and fast-paced environment for a short term assignment.
Your New Role
Working Monday toFriday from 6:00am to 2:00pm, you'llassist with food preparation, cooking, meal service, and maintaining a cleanand organised kitchen.
Yourresponsibilities will include:
Assisting with the preparation and cooking of meals Food preparation, portioning, and presentation Serving customers and assisting during meal service Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards Cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas Assisting with stock rotation and storage Supporting the kitchen team with general catering dutiesWhat You'll Need to Succeed
Previous experience in a catering, kitchen, hospitality, or food service environment Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices A positive attitude and strong work ethic Reliable transport and punctual attendance
What You'll Get in Return
Full-time hours on a casual contract Monday to Friday roster with no weekend work Consistent 6:00am to 2:00pm shifts Approximately 3 months of work with potential for extension Weekly pay through Hays
