Job Description

The Role

We’re seeking a motivated Meat Processing Labourer to join a busy meat processing facility in Central West, NSW. This role is physical and hands-on, working closely with both the warehouse and skin shed teams to keep operations running smoothly. You’ll be part of a safety-conscious workplace where teamwork, attention to detail, and reliability are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting warehouse and processing operations by ensuring materials and products are moved, stacked, and prepared efficiently and safely. Your duties include:

  • Operating a forklift to move pallets of skins between processing, salting, and warehouse areas
  • Assisting with loading, packing, and palletising salted skins for storage or dispatch
  • Supporting manual handling tasks including stacking, packing, and preparing skins
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment at all times
  • Following safety regulations and standard operating procedures
  • Communicating effectively with warehouse and skin shed staff to ensure smooth workflow

Your Skills & Experience

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Mandatory: Current and valid forklift licence (LF Class)
  • Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or production environment
  • Physical capability for repetitive manual labour, including bending, lifting, and stacking
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a safety-first mindset
