  • Evaluate potential acquisitions, including strategic fit, commercial viability, financial performance and valuation.
  • Work closely with the CFO and internal stakeholders to coordinate due diligence, negotiations and transaction execution.
  • Identify, evaluate and develop strategic business partnerships that enhance Mutual Trust's service offering and client outcomes.
  • Prepare investment papers, business cases and recommendations for senior leadership and the Board.
  • Support post-acquisition integration, with a focus on cultural alignment and long-term business performance.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and develop acquisition opportunities, build relationships with business owners and progress commercial transactions.
  • Strong financial analysis, valuation and commercial assessment skills.
  • Proven ability to develop relationships with business owners, senior executives and external advisers.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • The ability to assess commercial opportunities, exercise sound judgement and present recommendations to senior decision-makers.
  • A proactive, self-directed approach, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and work collaboratively across the business.

Experience within professional services, wealth management or financial services will be highly regarded.

We welcome applications from individuals with diverse commercial backgrounds who can demonstrate the experience, initiative and relationship management skills required to contribute to Mutual Trust's growth strategy.
