What's involved
- Lead and develop team members and apprentices
- Work hands-on with your team
- Ensure work is completed to a high standard
- Operate and support the maintenance of tools, machinery, and equipment
- Report progress, issues, and requirements to your manager
- Pest and disease identification and treatment
- Foster a culture of safety
What you’ll bring:
You will be an enthusiastic and reliable gardening professional with high attention to detail. You enjoy being hands on with your team and passing on your knowledge and experience to others.
- Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens, or solid industry experience
- Proven ability to effectively prioritise work and develop team members
- Sound practical experience with a variety of tools and equipment such as mowers, hedgers, whipper snippers, blowers, hand tools and petrol operated equipment
- Current driver's licence is essential
- WWVP; Police Check & White Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
