Your new role
An experienced Maintenance Officer is required for a 4-week leave cover assignment. Working alongside the current Maintenance Officer before they commence leave, you'll receive a thorough handover to ensure a smooth transition. The workload is manageable and includes:

• General repairs and building maintenance
• Reactive and preventative maintenance
• Conducting routine site inspections
• Responding to maintenance requests across the facility.
• Identifying and reporting safety hazards

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Officer, Handy Person or Facilities Maintenance professional
• Strong communication skills and confident spoken English
• Basic computer skills for logging and managing maintenance tasks
• Ability to work independently and build rapport with residents and staff
• Relevant trade qualifications or tickets are advantageous but not essential
• WHV holders are welcome and encouraged to apply
