The opportunity

We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to become a part of our team and collaborate on exciting projects across diverse sectors, including industrial, residential, and education.

Key responsibilities

As Project Engineer, you will oversee the construction delivery of several packages, taking charge of the progress from start to finish. Other responsibilities include:

  • Manage subcontractors and service suppliers, ensuring that they are all operating efficiently to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain construction programmes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of the project.
  • Implement the procurement strategy to ensure that all materials are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and of the highest quality.
  • Practice value engineering to continuously identify and implement cost-saving measures without sacrificing quality.
  • Ensure that delivery exceeds project parameters for time, cost, customer satisfaction, quality, and HSE at all times.

In other words, you will be responsible for ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, with high-quality standards, and most importantly, ensuring that everyone involved stays safe.

About you

  • You are a Project Engineer with at least 5 years of industry experience as well as well-rounded experience in similar roles on large building projects. You will also have:
  • A relevant qualification in a field of study
  • Extensive experience in a similar role on large building construction projects
  • Experience in residential, education, or data center projects would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills that will enable you to interact with team members, subcontractors, and suppliers, as well as other stakeholders.
