An exciting opportunity has become available for a Contributions Planning Officer to join a progressive local government organisation. This role sits at the intersection of strategic planning, infrastructure delivery and growth management, helping ensure essential community infrastructure is planned and funded to support future development.
Your new role
Working closely with planning, infrastructure and development teams, you will play a key role in identifying infrastructure requirements arising from population growth, supporting the delivery of Contributions Plans, Voluntary Planning Agreements (VPAs) and infrastructure funding initiatives. You will assist in planning and coordinating roads, open space, community facilities and other essential infrastructure required to service urban release and renewal areas.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualifications in Town Planning, Infrastructure Planning, Engineering, Economics or a related discipline.
- Experience in contribution planning, infrastructure planning, development planning or a related field.
- Understanding of development contributions frameworks, VPAs and infrastructure funding mechanisms.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and project coordination skills.
- Experience working across multidisciplinary planning and infrastructure teams
