The Role

Looking to work in a high-acuity environment while enjoying a relaxed coastal lifestyle? Positioned as the "Gateway to the Channel," our Kingston UCC is one of the region’s busiest acute hubs, serving a rapidly growing community just 15 minutes from the Hobart CBD.

We are actively recruiting for extended hours shifts as afternoon and weekend,—the ultimate setup for GPs looking to maximize their earning potential with higher penalty rates! From managing acute presentations and fractures to complex minor procedures, you’ll bridge the gap between general practice and the ED with the full stability of an exceptional salaried employee package.

Remuneration & Employed Benefits

·      Top-Tier Remuneration: Competitive annual salary package of $387,140 p.a. (pro rata if PT), paying  $1,489 daily (weekdays) and $2,065 daily (Weekend).

·      Maximize Earning Potential: Purpose-built for extended hours coverage as afternoon and weekends, tapping into higher penalty rates over the weekend.

·      Full Employee Security: Available on both a Part-Time and Full-Time basis, offering financial stability alongside high-yielding acute care.

·      Paid Leave Structure: Enjoy 4 weeks of paid annual leave plus 10 days of personal leave per year (pro rata).

·      Paid ALS2 Certification: Full coverage for ALS2 training and time away so your acute credentials stay current at zero personal expense.

Skills & Experience

·      Fellowship: FRACGP or FACRRM essential.

·      Registration: Current, unrestricted Specialist Registration with AHPRA.

·      Clinical: Current ALS2 (or readiness to complete paid training with us) and strong confidence in acute emergency presentations and procedural care.
