About the Role:
With the recent and continuous growth of the business, our procurement team has identified the need to expand our team to better service the needs of the business. We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement lead to be part of SASH’s procurement team in Sydney. This role is responsible for stock management and business support purchasing activities across all SASH sites.
  
Further to this you will be involved in but not limited to the following:

  • Process and expedite purchases orders to support the Demand, Daily requirements
  • Supplier performance management and cost optimization.
  • Governance of the Procurement processes & procedures.
  • Monitor inventory databases to understand product usages and contracted suppliers and provide ad-hoc analysis to relevant Site/Hospital stakeholders
  • Be the key driver of purchasing compliance across the department and work with key stakeholder groups within hospital, finance, and operations to understand processes
  • Oversee ongoing Cycle Counting schedule.
  • Site visits to ensure inventory databases are maintained.

 
About You:

To be successful, you will have:
Essential

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, Business admin preferred
  • Knowledge of best practice procurement processes
  • Proven track record in sourcing and purchasing
  • Hands on approach to driving purchasing process
  • Inventory planning experience, processing incoming orders.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the regulations and requirements of operating the hospital
  • Excellent computer, keyboard, and numeracy skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team

  
Desirable

  • Experience working within a hospital environment is preferred but not essential
