Are you a skilled and dedicated panel beater looking for a new opportunity? BCM Body Repairs Pty Ltd are seeking a talented tradesperson to join our busy workshop and become a key part of our growing team.

The Panel Beater is responsible for repairing damaged vehicle bodies and chassis frames back to factory specifications. This role involves assessing structural damage, utilizing hydraulic pulling equipment, realigning vehicle frames, repairing or replacing damaged metal/plastic panels, and preparing surfaces for the refinishing team.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experienced Tradesperson: You're a qualified panel beater with a strong track record of high-quality work. Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year experience post Cert III in Automotive Body Repair Technology (or equivalent trade qualification).
  • Attention to Detail: You take pride in your work and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring every repair meets our high standards.
  • Strong Work Ethic: You're reliable, efficient, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Problem Solver: You can accurately assess damage and determine the best approach for repair.
  • Positive Attitude: You bring a can-do attitude to the workshop and are a great team player.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Assessing vehicle damage and planning repair work.
  • Repairing and replacing damaged vehicle panels, including using body filler and welding techniques.
  • Using a variety of tools and equipment to restore vehicles to their original condition.
  • Communicating effectively with the workshop manager and other team members.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
