Accountant - Client Manager

About the Role
Manage a portfolio of SME clients with turnovers of up to $10 million across a diverse range of industries. This Client Manager position focuses on tax compliance, business services and advisory, with responsibility for maintaining strong client relationships and supporting the development of junior team members.
- Manage a portfolio of SME clients across a range of industries
- Review and prepare financial statements, tax returns and BAS
- Provide tax planning, business structuring and advisory services
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Identify opportunities to improve clients' tax positions and business outcomes
- Review work completed by junior accountants and provide guidance and support
- Assist with workflow management and ensure deadlines are met
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor of Commerce or similar qualification
- CA/CPA qualified or near completion
- Solid experience in public practice across tax and business services
- Strong technical knowledge of tax compliance, legislation and business structuring
- Experience managing client relationships and reviewing accounting work
- Confident communicator with a proactive, client-focused approach
