Bli Bli Veterinary Surgery is looking for an experienced, confident, and motivated Head Veterinary Nurse to lead our nursing team and help us continue providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients and clients.

This role is perfect for a senior nurse ready to step into leadership or an experienced head nurse seeking a supportive and progressive environment.

About the Role
As our Head Veterinary Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting the clinical team, driving standards, and fostering a positive, collaborative workplace. You’ll lead by example in all aspects of nursing while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and supporting our nursing team

  • Maintaining high clinical standards across all areas

  • Supporting vets in surgery, treatments, and patient care

  • Client communication, education, and exceptional customer service

  • Ensuring hospital cleanliness, organisation, and protocol compliance

  • Assisting with training, onboarding, and professional development

About You
We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)

  • Minimum 2 years vet nurse experience

  • Strong leadership or mentoring experience

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • A proactive, calm, and supportive approach

  • A passion for high-quality patient care and a positive team culture
