Dealership Accountant (AC8254)

Looking to broaden your dealership accounting experience? A respected automotive group is on the lookout for a capable Dealership Accountant to support finance operations across their multiple locations.

This hands-on role works closely with the Group Financial Controller and a fellow Accountant, sharing responsibilities across tax, reporting, compliance, and budgeting. You'll enjoy a diverse workload and the opportunity to contribute to process improvements across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end and year-end reporting, including audit support
• Prepare accurate monthly management reports with variance analysis
• Reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts
• Manage BAS and FBT lodgements and tax compliance
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and fixed asset tracking
• Partner with internal teams to maintain strong financial controls
• Collaborate on system and process improvements

What You’ll Need:

• CPA/CA qualified or working towards
• 3+ years in dealership or automotive accounting
• Strong Excel skills and exposure to DMS systems (Pentana preferred)
• Great communication and time management skills

About the Role:

• Brisbane CBD-based
• Site-based position – not remote or hybrid
• No direct reports; collaborates with admin teams on multiple sites
