Join Brightwater’s Relief Pool – Permanent Part time Guaranteed Hours Available!
Are you an experienced Enrolled Nurse with a passion for aged care? Brightwater is currently seeking dedicated professionals with at least 2 years of aged care experience to join our Centralised Relief Staff Pool.
This permanent opportunity offers guaranteed hours and the chance to work across multiple residential aged care facilities, covering planned leave for our existing team members.
Facility Locations:
- Central: Onslow Gardens (Subiaco), Redcliffe, Inglewood, The Village (Inglewood), Birralee (Innaloo)
To be eligible, you must be available to work across all facilities within your chosen pool region.
As a valued member of the Brightwater Residential Aged Care team, you’ll collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to support our clients’ independence, dignity, and quality of life.
What’s required from you:
- To be considered you must be available a minimum of 3 weekdays (Monday to Friday) each week.
- You must be available at least 2 different shift types (Morning and Afternoon) the more days you are available, the more hours we can guarantee.
- Suitable pool employee can be offered permanent part time contracts up to 60 hours per fortnight.
To be suitable for this role, you must possess:
- Be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum of 2 years post grad experience within aged care.
- Deliver a strong clinical care service.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead shifts with an empathetic and mentoring approach.
- Be able to prioritise their workload safely and efficiently with a focus on our clients.
- A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than 12 months old
- First Aid Certificate (less than 3 years old)
- A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening check
Responsibilities include:
Ensuring the holistic needs of our clients are met in accordance with their Care Plan by facilitating a variety of therapeutic and recreational programs.
Contributing to the development of innovative therapy programs to improve the wellbeing of our clients.
