Trade Assistant - Building Maintenance
- Maintenance and upkeep of site grounds, buildings and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and implement corrective actions for maintenance issues.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP and maintain high standards of facility upkeep.
About the Role:
Our client, a leading global pharmaceutical manufacturer, is currently seeking a Building Maintenance Trade Assistant for a 6-month casual role, with full-time hours. This role will be working Monday to Friday based on site at Carole Park.
NOTE: Applicants will be required to undertake a full medical assessment, drug screening and police check to be eligible for this role.
Duties:
- Maintenance and upkeep of site grounds, buildings and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and implement corrective actions to address complex maintenance issues.
- Ensure all activities comply with cGMP, legal and ethical standards and ensure all compliance documentation is completed to a high standard.
- Liaise with Maintenance and Operations teams, ensuring a high standard of facility upkeep is maintained.
- Build and maintain a high level of customer service with internal and external stakeholders.
- Promote a safe and healthy workplace by complying with company instructions and processes.
Skills and Experience:
- Plumbing experience desirable.
- Previous experience working in building and construction or facilities maintenance.
- Previous experience working in a GMP environment is desirable.
- Forklift License required.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with key stakeholders.
- The ability to effectively manage time and conflicting priorities to meet strict deadlines and targets.
- Current Driver’s License and a vehicle as this site is difficult to access via public transport.
